How I can be helpful to founders
βSupport π
Startups are hard. My lowest lows have almost all come from my startups experiences, from the firing of good people to rough co-founder relationships. Most founders avoid sharing the "bad" with investors... frankly my check size will not be big enough for this to matter! So, I can promise you that I will be there for you if you need me.
Market Research π΅π»ββοΈ
I enjoy doing deep dives. Whether by following a product all the way down the commodity chain or by playing around with datasets, I'm happy to lend a hand. Heck, I'm even game to do a book club on a topic.
Product Strategy π¨π»βπ»
My background is in product management and design. I enjoy diving into product strategy, like building moats or working out retention. On the flip side, I also enjoy riffing on UI / UX.
βHiring π€
My networks: recent University of Chicago graduates, Y Combinator alums, On Deck fellows, and various private Slack groups. I'm more than happy to share job posts on my socials and / or privately within these circles!
Press π
I will not be able to guarantee any press opportunities, but I am "connected" to a few journalists, newsletter writers, and writers at various online publications, mostly in the food and beverage space. Let's speak directly about this.
βGrowth π
Growth is challenging at any stage. My biggest forte is in search engine optimization, as I have done content marketing / SEO projects at over 5+ companies. I am also experienced in product-led growth and building community. However, my core competency is not in paid adsβ but I can point you in the right direction!
Fundraising π°
Itβs in my best interest to help founders fill their round with strategic, helpful investors. I am also eager to help with the deck and give frank pitch practice.
